The 3rd Annual Diverse Perspectives Seminar Series

An in-person event featuring Professor Sherilynn Black (Duke University) on April 21st at 10AM PST Join us in person to celebrate diversity and excellence in research as we bring together scholars from all career stages to discuss efforts to promote equity and inclusion within academia. Dr. Black is the Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement at Duke, where she provides leadership for faculty advancement and leads initiatives to increase diversity among the faculty.

Stanford HyPE: High School to PhD Event

The annual Stanford High School to PhD Event (HyPE) is an event that brings 75-100 underrepresented high school students from the Bay Area to learn about science, Stanford, and what it means to be a PhD student. Stanford HyPE will be held on Saturday, April 24 from 9 am - 3:30 pm on Zoom.
